Intrastat deadlines extended in response to Corona (COVID-19).

Considering the corona pandemic emergency, several countries have extended the dates for Intrastat declaration submissions. Please find below an overview of the countries and the extensions.


The deadline for reporting the Intrastat declarations for the periods 2020 February, March, April and May have set to June 30, 2020.


Statec, the statistical office of Luxembourg, has released an adjusted filing calendar for the upcoming Intrastat declarations up until June which will have the regular 16th working day deadline. See below these adjustments.

They also state that it is not possible for them to adjust the timelines in IDEP, the tool where the declarations are filed, and that any reminders can be ignored for the extended deadlines.


The Ministry of Finance in Poland has announced that Intrastat statistical declarations for the month of April 2020 can be submitted by May 20, 2020.

Submission of the Intrastat declaration for April 2020 after the original deadline will not have any negative consequences for Intrastat obligated companies.


Due to the exceptional situation, INE is now extending the initially foreseen deadline to report Intrastat of March 2020 until next April 20, 2020.


At the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia they are aware that in the current circumstances, the business of many of their partners is being disrupted. They announced that if you are unable to provide the information in due time, they will ask you to submit it later.
