Covering both B2B and B2G transactions

Belgium has already implemented B2G eInvoicing (for contracts above €3,000) through the Peppol network since March 2024. The B2B obligation now extends the same model to private-sector transactions, using identical standards and infrastructure.

“This alignment is intentional,” Danielle says. “By using the same Peppol setup for both B2G and B2B, Belgium creates one ecosystem that’s easier for businesses to adopt and maintain.”

Why foreign companies should act too

If you have a fixed establishment in Belgium, you will also fall in scope.

How this affects multinationals
