Multiple invoices per CO no longer allowed by UAE Embassy

We received a communication from the Arabian Consular Section, The Hague, with respect to the legalization of documents by the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

As of Monday, 13th of February 2017, it is no longer possible to legalize Certificates of Origin (CO) containing more than one invoice number. This means it is no longer allowed to consolidate multiple invoices on one Certificate of Origin.

With respect to the new legalization process of the Arabian Embassy, Pincvision will, from now on, issue only one Certificate of Origin per Commercial Invoice for our customers. Lead-times will not be affected, however please note the increase of cost involved per extra Certificate of Origin/Commercial Invoice.

Documents for UAE without Embassy legalization

If you would like to have your documents attested by the Chamber of Commerce only (no Embassy legalization), the process has not changed and consolidation is still possible.

How about other Embassies?

No other Embassy processes have been altered, this only applies to legalization by the United Arab Emirates Embassy.

We hope to have informed you sufficiently. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions.
