Effective March 2020 several new products will be banned from landfills in Nova Scotia, Canada.

These products include microwaves, modems and video game systems & controllers. With this ban producers will be obligated to implement effective recycling programs for these type of products.

The Electronic Products Recycling Association (the EPRA) is expected to expand its program to arrange such a recycling program.
