As you have most likely all read and heard, the EU voted positive in relation to Brexit and the transition period.
This means that from February 1 until December 31, 2020 there will be no changes to the current VAT treatment, the United Kingdom will remain to be seen as an EU Member State for VAT purposes during the agreed transition period.
The changes will become effective as from January 1, 2021 and will become clear in the coming period. However there is still a possibility that the transition period will be extended for one or two years, that will decided by July 1, 2020.
