Early February the Ministry of Environment in Romania proposed an amendment to the Packaging Law.
This amendment, among other measures, introduces stricter requirements to individual compliance. With the introduction of the amendment it will not be possible to comply individually for obligations regarding household packaging. Furthermore producers of non-household packaging will be subject to much stricter requirements. Hence the amendment will likely impact many producers who currently comply individually.
