The invoice declaration applies to many countries. You can use this declaration for goods with an invoice value up to €6,000 , as well as for goods regardless of the invoice value. For the latter, you need to apply for an approved exporter authorization from Dutch Customs. Once this authorization is granted, you can use the invoice declaration, which replaces the EUR.1 document.
As of May 1, 2024, new sample texts for invoice declarations are in effect. This is due to the new trade agreement between the EU and New Zealand and Bosnia-Herzegovina's adoption of PEM transitional rules. An invoice declaration is placed on your invoice for customers outside the EU, declaring that your products are manufactured in the EU.
