Kuwait Updates Verification of Conformity Program: New Plug Types Approved for Import

Effective immediately, the following plug types are approved:

• Type C Plug: A two-wire plug featuring two round pins.
• Type G Plug: Commonly known as the UK plug, this type includes three rectangular blades (squared pins) arranged in a triangular pattern.
• Type M Plug: A plug with three round pins arranged in a triangular pattern.

To ensure compliance with these new regulations and facilitate a smooth import process, Bureau Veritas has been designated by PAI to verify goods prior to export. This step is crucial in ensuring that all imported goods meet the required standards.
