SII reporting is a VAT reporting obligation in Spain. SII stands for Spanish Immediate supply of Information and was introduced at the 1st of July 2017.
Spain introduced the obligation of reporting -on a 'Real-time' basis- the data corresponding to all sales and purchase transactions included in the Spanish VAT books. This information is to be supplied electronically through the Spanish Tax Agency’s website. The SII reporting obligation applies from July 1, 2017 and applies to companies:
- Registered with REDEME (Monthly VAT Return Registry)
- Large Businesses (turnover of over €6,010,121.04)
- In VAT groups
