As we have been expecting with the introduction of the periodic mandatory Standard Audit File for Tax (SAF-T) for VAT in Poland, Poland has announced plans to withdraw the requirement for the submission of monthly VAT returns.

The monthly mandatory SAF-T will replace the VAT Return. It is not yet certain when this will be implemented. The initial idea was the beginning of 2019, but more details will follow after the summer.
