After Brexit it's no longer possible to verify Great Britain (GB) VAT numbers in VIES. HMRC has now published a new tool for verifying GB VAT numbers.

Check a UK VAT number

This tool will also show the name and address of the business associated with the VAT number. If you're a UK VAT-registered business, you can also get a proof of your check.
