Romania will have Grace Period for Mandatory B2B eInvoicing

Dit bericht is alleen in het Engels beschikbaar.

Romania has announced a change in its timeline for the introduction of mandatory electronic invoicing.

The new date set for the implementation is January 1, 2024. Additionally, both residents and non-residents registered for VAT in Romania will benefit from a three-month grace period. This means businesses will have until the end of March 2024 to fully comply with the e-invoicing regulations without facing penalties. This move is aimed at providing ample time for businesses to adjust to the new invoicing system.
