We are looking for a new colleague for our VAT team for 32-40 hours a week.

We are looking for a driven VAT Specialist who helps our clients to comply with international VAT obligations.

Your responsibility

As a VAT Specialist at Pincvision, you play an active role in supporting customers with their (complex) VAT issues. You are able to convert customer questions into a smooth and automated compliance process, which is then carried out by our compliance analysts. You support specialists and analysts with questions about VAT-related returns for all EU member states and Norway, Switzerland. You are responsible for your own customer portfolio and you act as a specialist for the customer, various authorities and your colleagues. In addition, you guide new customers in connecting to our systems and in setting up a fully outsourced compliance process. You proactively work on identifying new regulations and translate them into practical advice for customers and assurance in our systems. Collaboration with your team is central to achieving the daily goals. You have a lot of cross-team contact about customers and take responsibility for planning, quality, monitoring and customer satisfaction. In addition, you take the initiative to improve existing processes and business operations.

How do you do that?

By working closely with customers to support them in understanding and complying with the requirements surrounding these specific areas. You ensure that customers are aware of the applicable laws and regulations regarding VAT compliance, and guide them in implementing the necessary reporting processes. You have regular contact with authorities and other stakeholders to ensure proper compliance with this legislation. You play an essential role in guiding organizations towards compliance within the current and future changes in the field of VAT.

You also have:
- Minimum HBO working and thinking level
- A completed HBO education in a tax direction
- Knowledge of VAT laws and regulations
- Extensive knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel
- Affinity with implementing compliance processes in systems
- Professional mastery of the Dutch and English language in word and writing
- Excellent communication skills
