Your challenge

As an Environmental Compliance Specialist, you will work with international environmental regulations, with a specific focus on WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), batteries, and packaging. You will assist our customers in gathering the necessary data and ensure they comply with all regulations and reporting requirements.

What’s great about this role? You play a key role in the supply chain of large international companies, helping them meet all environmental obligations. You stay on top of the latest legislative developments and translate them into clear, practical advice for our customers. Together, we ensure they are compliant and reduce their environmental impact.

Collaboration with your team is essential to achieve daily goals. You will work closely with the Sales team regarding customers and take responsibility for planning, quality, monitoring, and customer satisfaction. You also take initiative to improve existing processes and operations.

How do you do that?

• Supporting customers in complying with regulations regarding WEEE, batteries, and packaging.
• Analyzing data and converting it into reports that meet all environmental regulations.
• Keeping customers informed about legislative changes and guiding them through the necessary processes.
• Regularly coordinating with environmental authorities and other stakeholders to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Actively contributing to process improvements within the team and the organization.

Who are you?

You are someone who thrives on working with clients and genuinely wants to help them move forward. You have a practical mindset and are always looking for ways to improve processes. Additionally, you are a strong communicator, both in Dutch and English, and you feel at home in a collaborative team environment.

What you bring:
• Higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working.
• Proficiency in the Office suite, especially Excel.
• Affinity with IT solutions.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
