We are looking for an enthusiastic customs declarant for our Customs team, 32-40 hours per week, who wants to grow into the role of Customs Compliance Operator.

Your responsibility
You are responsible for performing remote customs processes. You apply laws and regulations, analyze and monitor customer data and processes. You are an expert in customs legislation. You support customers in operational customs processes, analysis, controls, helpdesk activities, and HS classification. You work in a team of specialists and are part of customer organizations. You grow together with the new Customs Declaration Management System (DMS).
How do you do that?
You carry out customer processes, verify declarations, and assist with HS classification. You perform operational and administrative tasks, such as following up on processes, validating declarations, and maintaining records. You are the point of contact for customers and support the helpdesk. As our customers operate internationally, the main language within our organization is English.
You provide reports and manage customer agreements in a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). For more complex issues, you consult with other Customs Specialists.
Who are you?
With your practical mentality, you communicate (remotely) with customers. You are flexible, can multitask well, and are a team player. You develop into an all-round professional and have at least a vocational education, a completed Declarants education, current knowledge of customs laws and regulations, at least 3 years of work experience as a Declarant, knowledge and experience with Customs Declaration Systems, and professional proficiency in Dutch and English.

At Pincvision, you work with 70 colleagues in a dynamic organization. Personal development and enjoying your work are paramount. You are supported by colleagues from the Customs department. Together, we are currently 12 people, including some interim professionals with their own expertise in the field. You are accountable to Peter Italiaander, Head of Customs & Trade Affairs. After a short onboarding period, you can work mostly from home, and we meet with the fixed team in the office on a weekly basis. Of course, you are welcome to come to our representative office more often if that works better for you to maintain the right balance.
