Successful second edition of the Pincvision Optimizing Supply Chain Event

Wednesday April 12, the second edition of the Pincvision Optimizing Supply Chain Event took place. Participants of the event were all Customs, Logistics or Supply Chain managers/directors. The main goal of the event was to share knowledge and expertise on the latest developments within the supply chain and exporting to the EMEA region.

Guest speakers were Martin van der Weide of the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce and Eddy Postma of SGS. Edo Bosga of Pincvision shared his vision on the future developments within trade compliance.

Key topics to be discussed were:

  • Determination & management of origin
  • Exporting to merging markets
  • Standardization of processes on product level
  • Keeping track on changing trade & origin regulations
  • Transforming “big data” into information
  • Tension between costs, compliance & lead times

This edition was an interactive session based on a practical case. After the session there was opportunity to ask questions to the expert panel. It was great to see the active participation of all guests and to see that they really want to help out each other by sharing experiences and success stories. Afterwards there was time for networking during a delicious diner buffet.

We look back at a very interesting event. We are proud of the positive feedback we got from our attendees:

''Good insights! And a nice informal opportunity for talking to peers at
other companies, sharing challenges"

"Excellent networking event together with some recent international trade developments"

"Set up on issuing export documents must be made before request on export documents takes place. In practice it works often another way round. Pincvision provides a good solution how to arrange in advance what you will need tomorrow."
