Product conformity news Ivory Coast

As per March 1, 2018 the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire will implement a Verification of Conformity Program.

All goods with a shipment date on or after 1st March require a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) that demonstrates compliance of the goods with approved standards. The CoC must be available upon arrival of the goods in Côte d'Ivoire and is required for Customs clearance. Goods arriving to Côte d'Ivoire without the corresponding CoC will not be allowed to enter the country and will be subject to a fine of 50% of the CIF value.

For more information on the Côte d'Ivoire Verification of Conformity Program, including information on the process (to be started timely before shipment date), products that are excluded from the program and fees, please refer to this Data Sheet.
